Description
The rear glass is the glass panel that protects the back of the phone. It covers the electronics and gives the smartphone its look. When it is cracked, deeply scratched or broken, it can cut the hand, let dust and moisture in, and spoil the appearance of the device. This part, compatible with the Redmi Note 8T, lets you replace the current part and get an intact back again.
Before you begin, switch the phone off completely and remove the battery if the model allows it. Gently warm the edges with a hot air gun at moderate heat to soften the adhesive, then use a suction cup and a thin plastic tool. Work on a clean surface and avoid excessive heat. Keep the small screws in a container so they do not get lost.
After fitting, check that the glass sits flush all around and that no edge lifts. Check that the buttons and sensor areas work normally. If you removed the battery, reconnect it carefully and carry out a few full charge cycles to verify that the device works correctly.

- Warm the edges gently to soften the adhesive without overheating
- Never puncture or bend the lithium battery
- Disconnect the battery before any work on the ribbon cables
- A swollen battery must no longer be used
- Check the seal and adhesion after fitting
