Description
The rear glass is the glass panel that protects the back of the phone and finishes its chassis. Before you start, prepare a clean, well-lit workspace, a suction cup, a plastic opening tool and small screwdrivers. Switch off the device and disconnect the battery before any work on the ribbon cables. Handle the glass carefully, never force it and avoid excessive heat while removing the old glass. Watch out for static electricity: work preferably on an anti-static surface.
Once the glass is fitted, check that it adheres all around the edge, that there is no play and that the components are aligned. Switch on the phone and check that the buttons and charging work properly. If the battery was disconnected, charge it through several full cycles before heavy use.
