Description
The rear glass is the panel that covers the back of your smartphone. It protects the internal components and gives the device its outer appearance. When it is cracked, scratched or broken, it can cut or injure, let in dust and moisture, and sometimes interfere with the reading of the camera sensor or the flash.
This rear glass is a part compatible with the Redmi Note 9S. It replaces the current part without changing the general operation of the device. Before you start, switch off the phone, place it on a clean surface and prepare suitable tools, such as a suction cup, a plastic spatula and a small screwdriver. Gently heat the edges with a warm air dryer, without overdoing it, to soften the adhesive.
After assembly, check that the glass lies flat, that the edges are aligned and that the camera sensor is not obstructed. Then test charging and the buttons. Finally, protect the new back with a suitable case or film.
Tips
- Switch off the phone and disconnect the battery before any work
- Heat the edges gently, without exceeding a moderate temperature
- Never pierce or bend the lithium battery
- Check the alignment of the camera sensor and flash before gluing
- A swollen battery must no longer be used
