Description
The front glass is the glass panel that covers the screen of your Galaxy Note 3 and protects the touch display. When it is cracked or scratched, touch response can become inaccurate, and glass fragments present a risk of injury. This compatible part is used to replace the damaged glass so you get a clean screen and a working touch surface back.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and remove the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean, well-lit surface with suitable tools: a suction cup, a plastic spudger and a small screwdriver. Warm the edges lightly with a warm air heat gun, without overdoing it, to soften the adhesive. Protect your hands with gloves and handle the glass with care.
After fitting, check the touch response across the whole surface, the brightness, and that there is no dust under the glass before closing everything up for good. The ribbon cables are fragile: disconnect the battery before touching them, and never bend the lithium battery. If it is swollen, stop using it.
