Description
The front glass is the glass surface that protects the screen of your Galaxy Note 4 and passes touch input to the display panel. This compatible part replaces glass that is damaged, cracked or scratched, without touching the display underneath. It suits cracked glass, impacts on the edges and touch areas that have become less responsive because of damaged glass.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and prepare a clean, well-lit, dust-free workspace. Use suitable tools, a suction cup and a set of plastic spudgers to reduce the risks. Disconnect the battery before handling any ribbon cables, and never bend or puncture the lithium battery: if it is swollen, do not try to repair it and stop using it. Avoid any significant heat source during disassembly.
After reassembly, check the touch response across the whole surface, the edges and the corners, then check the display and brightness. If responsiveness seems uneven, reseat the relevant ribbon cable before drawing any conclusion. Remove the protective films only once testing is complete.
