Description
The front glass is the glass surface that protects the screen of your Galaxy Note 8 and passes touch input down to the panel. When it is cracked, scratched or broken, it can affect screen responsiveness, create areas that do not respond to touch, or expose the display module to impacts and dust. This compatible part replaces the damaged glass so that your device regains a smooth surface and proper protection.
Before you start, switch off the smartphone completely and disconnect it. Prepare a clean, well-lit workspace free of static electricity, with suction cups, plastic spudgers and a small suitable screwdriver. Warm the edges lightly with a heat gun on a moderate setting to soften the adhesive, and never exceed a reasonable temperature. Do not drill or bend any component, and if the battery appears swollen, do not continue the repair.
After fitting, carefully check the alignment of the glass, that the touch function works across the whole surface, and that there are no bubbles under the glass. Also test the sensor and display functions before closing the device completely. If you have any doubt, it is better to repeat the steps calmly than to force anything.
