Description
The front glass is the glass part covering the screen of your Galaxy S9 Plus and protecting the display from knocks and scratches. When it is cracked or shattered, touch response can become less accurate, and glass fragments present a risk of cuts. This compatible part replaces the current piece to restore an intact glass surface in front of the screen.
Before you start, prepare a clean, well-lit workspace and gather a small suitable screwdriver, suction cups and a flat tool to separate the glass. Warm the edges gently with a hair dryer on moderate heat to soften the adhesive without damaging the internal components. Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables, and avoid bending or forcing the connectors. Work away from static electricity.
Once the glass is fitted, check the alignment, the touch response across the whole surface and that there is no dust under the glass. Power the device back on and test the display and touch zones before permanently closing the phone. If the adhesive seems insufficient, stop and check the seal before continuing.
