Description
The front glass is the glass surface that protects the screen of the Google Pixel 2 and that you touch every day. It protects the display and ensures touch response. When it is cracked, shattered or no longer responds properly to your finger, use becomes inconvenient and reading the screen can be difficult. This compatible part replaces the damaged glass.
Before you start, switch off the device and disconnect the battery before working on the ribbon cables. Work on a clean surface, with a suitable tool. Apply moderate heat to loosen the glass without forcing it, and avoid static electricity by touching a metal surface before handling the components.
After fitting, check touch response across the whole surface as well as the display and the fixing of the glass before closing the device completely. If the battery is swollen, do not use it any more. Do not puncture it or bend it.
