Description
This front glass Pixel 3 is a replacement part for the touch layer on the front of the device. It protects the screen and ensures that your touches are transmitted accurately to the display. When the glass is cracked, shattered or the touchscreen no longer responds properly, replacing it restores a clear display and comfortable use. This part is a compatible make: it does not come from the manufacturer but is designed to fit the Pixel 3 model.
Before starting, switch off the device and disconnect the battery if the procedure requires it. Work on a clean surface with a small set of suitable screwdrivers and suction cups to lift the glass. Gently warm the edges with a hairdryer on a moderate setting to soften the adhesive, without ever overheating the device. Avoid forcing anything and take your time so you do not damage the ribbon cables under the glass. Remove the current part carefully.
After fitting, check the touchscreen across its whole surface, the brightness, the display quality and the sealing of the edges. If the battery was disconnected, reconnect it with care. A swollen or damaged lithium battery must never be used.
