Description
The front glass is the glass surface that protects the screen of your Pixel 3a and receives finger contact. When it is cracked, scratched or broken, it can affect the display and touch responsiveness. This compatible part replaces the damaged glass so you get back a smooth surface and proper screen protection.
Before fitting, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery before any work on the ribbon cables. Work on a clean surface, with a suitable tool to open the casing without forcing it. Warm the edges gently with a hair dryer on moderate heat to soften the adhesive, never exceeding a reasonable temperature. Watch out for static electricity, which can damage the components.
After reassembly, check that the touch layer responds across the whole surface and that the display is clear, with no dark areas or bands. Also check the seal before closing everything up completely. If the battery is swollen, stop using it and never puncture or bend it.
