Description
The front glass is the glass surface that protects the screen of your Pixel 4a and responds to your touch. When it is cracked, shattered or no longer responds properly, this part allows you to restore the device to working order. This compatible front glass is designed for the Pixel 4a model and replaces the current part during a repair at home.
Before you start, switch off the smartphone completely and work on a clean, flat and well-lit surface. Use a tool suited to opening the device and avoid excessive heat, which can damage the adhesive and internal components. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, and protect yourself from static electricity by not touching the connectors directly. Never puncture or bend the lithium battery, and do not use the device if it is swollen.
Once the assembly is finished, check that the touch function works across the whole surface, along with the brightness, the display and the correct closing of the casing before putting the device back into service. Pay attention to the display settings after the repair.
