Description
This right antenna is a spare part for the iPad Mini 1 (2012). It is part of the assembly that handles the reception and transmission of the phone's radio signals, such as the mobile network, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. When it is faulty, you may notice a loss of network, an unstable connection or difficulty picking up the signal in certain rooms, which is not always easy to identify.
This is a compatible part, made by a third party. Its role is to replace the faulty part currently fitted. Before you start, switch the device off and disconnect the battery where the design allows. Work on a clean surface, with a suitable tool, and do not force the fragile connectors. Avoid static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface.
After fitting, switch the device back on and check network and Wi-Fi reception in several locations. If the signal remains weak, check that the connector is properly clipped in and that the screws are tightened without overdoing it. If the battery has been handled, do not puncture it, bend it or ever use a swollen battery.
