This left antenna is the part that receives and transmits certain radio signals of the iPad Mini 1 (2012), notably for wireless connectivity depending on the device. When it is faulty, you may notice weak reception, dropped signal or difficulty connecting to a network, depending on where the antenna is located in the device.
This is a compatible part, made by a third party, and not an original part. Before fitting, switch off the device, remove the battery if the procedure allows it and work on a clean surface in a well-lit place. Use suitable tools and avoid static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface.
After reassembling, check the Wi-Fi signal and mobile reception before fully closing the device. If the battery has been disconnected, do not puncture it, bend it or use a swollen battery. Carry out a few complete charging cycles to check that the assembly works properly.
