Description
The front camera, also called the selfie camera, is the small module at the top of the screen used for selfies and video calls. This compatible part replaces the faulty module of a Redmi 10. It restores a sharp image during video calls and front-facing photos, when the camera no longer responds, shows a blurred or black image, or no longer opens in the camera app.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and remove the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean, well-lit surface with suitable tools, and use an anti-static wristband or regularly touch an earthed metal surface to avoid electrostatic discharge. Never puncture, bend or crush the lithium battery, and do not use a device whose battery is swollen. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, and avoid excessive heat during disassembly.
Once the part is fitted, switch the phone back on and open the camera app to test the front camera, brightness and focus. Also check video calls. If the battery was disconnected, carry out a few full charge cycles to stabilise the power supply.
