Description
This kit contains the screws needed to secure certain internal components of the iPhone 17e. It is a compatible part, made by a third party, designed to replace screws that are missing, damaged or lost during work on the phone.
The screws hold the logic board, the screen, the battery and the other components in place. A loose or wrong-sized screw can cause play, a rattle or a faulty contact, and may even damage a ribbon cable. This kit therefore helps you restore a stable fixation after a repair, such as replacing the current screen or a worn battery.
Before you start, work on a clean, well-lit surface, with a storage mat so you don't lose the screws. Discharge the battery as far as possible and disconnect it before touching any ribbon cables, and avoid electrostatic discharge. Tighten the screws gradually, without forcing them, then check that the device works properly.
