Description
This kit contains the screws needed to refit certain parts of an iPhone X, in a space grey finish. It is a compatible part, made by a third party, and not a part supplied by the manufacturer. These screws are used to secure the internal components and the front panel during a repair, particularly after replacing a screen, a battery or a connector. A well-fitted set of screws helps restore a stable fixing and avoids play or scratches on the chassis.
Before you start, prepare a clean, well-lit workspace, with an antistatic mat and suitable screwdriver bits. Note the position of each screw, as their lengths may vary. Never overtighten: a screw that is too tight can crack the chassis or damage the thread. Disconnect the battery before handling any ribbon cables, and never puncture or bend a lithium battery.
After reassembly, check that each screw is in place and that the device shows no play. Switch on the iPhone to check that the replaced parts work correctly, and let the device charge normally for a few cycles before intensive use. If a battery appears swollen, stop using it immediately.
