Description
The Nintendo Switch flex cable (right) is a flexible cable that connects a part of your device's motherboard to a component located on the right side of the chassis. It carries the signals and power needed for this area to work properly. When it is damaged, disconnected or worn, some functions may no longer respond correctly.
This is a compatible part, made by a third party, offered for the Nintendo Switch model. Before any work, switch off the device, remove the battery if the procedure requires it, and avoid touching electronic components to limit the risks linked to static electricity. Work on a clean surface with suitable tools, and keep the small screws in a precise order to make reassembly easier.
After fitting, check that the connectors are correctly seated, without forcing them, then switch the device back on to test the function concerned. If a battery is involved in the handling, do not puncture it, do not bend it, and never use a swollen battery. Once the device is reassembled, a few full charging cycles let you check that everything works normally.
