Description
This IC chip, also called a Baseband Chip EEPROM integrated circuit, is an EEPROM memory that stores the configuration and identification data used by the device's motherboard. It is designed for the iPhone 13 mini model and serves as a replacement part when this memory is faulty or damaged. A failure of this component may show up as a device that no longer starts, network or communication functions that do not respond, or errors related to phone identification after work on the board.
This part is a compatible version made by a third party, not an original part. Before fitting, disconnect the battery, work in a clean and dry place, and protect yourself from static electricity with an anti-static wrist strap. Handle the chip by its edges, without bending it or forcing its pins, and avoid excessive heat during soldering or desoldering.
After fitting, check that the device starts correctly and that the essential functions work. If the battery has been handled, carry out a few full charge cycles before normal use. Never puncture or bend a lithium battery, and stop using a device whose battery is swollen.
