Description
This metal bracket is part of the chassis designed for the Pixel 7 device. It holds certain internal components in place and ensures that the elements mounted in the structure are properly secured. When it is loose, broken or misaligned, it can cause play, noises when handling, or poor hold of the board and its connectors.
This part is a compatible version, made by a third party. It reproduces the shape of the original part for the Pixel 7 model. Before you start, switch off the device, unplug the charger and remove the battery if the procedure requires it. Work on a clean, flat surface, with an anti-static mat if you have one, to avoid any discharge on the components.
After fitting, check that the bracket is properly aligned and that the screws are tightened without forcing them. Power the device back on and check the operation of the elements fixed to this bracket. Do not bend the metal and do not overtighten the screws, as this could crack the chassis.
Tips
- Switch off and unplug the device before any intervention
- Use an anti-static mat and avoid electrostatic discharge
- Note the position of the screws for correct reassembly
- Do not force the screws, tighten them by hand
- Check the alignment of the bracket before closing the device
Fitting
Fitting guide: work with the device switched off, disconnect the battery before touching any flex cable, keep the screws in order and test the part before closing up. A question before ordering? Write to us.
