Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and sometimes the microSD card of your phone. It slides into a slot on the side of the device. For the Redmi 10, this compatible part lets you replace a tray that is broken, bent or no longer slides out properly.
When the tray is damaged, the SIM card may not be detected, the tray may get stuck or wobble in its slot, and the phone's water resistance can be affected. Replacing only this component avoids touching the screen or the motherboard.
Before you start, switch off the phone and use the ejection tool to remove the current tray. Compare the compatible part with the old one to check the shape and the cut-outs. After fitting, test inserting and removing the tray, then check that the SIM card is detected.
