Description
The charging IC Galaxy Note 10 Plus is an electronic component that manages the battery power supply when the device is connected to mains power. It regulates the current and voltage sent to the battery so that charging runs correctly. The reference MAX77705C appears on the part label; check it on the current part before buying.
This compatible part may help when the device no longer charges, charges very slowly, overheats abnormally while charging or no longer recognises the charger, while the battery and charging connector seem in good condition. Before replacing it, cut the power, disconnect the battery and work on a clean, anti-static surface. A soldering station with a fine tip and suitable flux makes the job easier, but careless handling can damage neighbouring tracks.
After fitting, check the solder joints and the absence of short circuits with a multimeter. At first start-up, monitor the temperature and use a suitable charger. For a lithium battery, let the device complete a few full charge and discharge cycles so the system returns to stable operation. Never puncture or bend the battery, and stop using a swollen battery.
