Description
The charging IC Galaxy Note 10 Plus (ref. P9320S) is an electronic component that manages the charging of the device. It sits on the motherboard and provides the link between the power circuit and the battery. When it is faulty, the device may no longer charge, charge erratically or overheat while charging. This part is offered as a compatible version, made by a third party, and is an economical option for a private individual who wants to repair their own device.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery before handling any ribbon cables. Work on a clean surface, with fine tweezers, a suitable desoldering station and an anti-static wrist strap. Moderate heat is enough to remove the current part, so as not to damage the neighbouring tracks. Never puncture or bend the lithium battery, and do not use a swollen battery.
After fitting, carefully check the solder joints and make sure there is no short circuit before switching the device back on. If the battery was disconnected, run a few full charge cycles to let the system recalibrate. If the behaviour remains abnormal, stop the device and check the connections again.
