Description
This kit contains replacement screws for the iPhone 7, to be used when disassembling the device. They are used to properly refasten the frame, board or internal components after a repair, so that the assembly stays solid and well aligned.
The screws also let you replace a missing, damaged or rounded-head screw. A screw that is overtightened or of the wrong length can damage the casing or a ribbon cable, which is why it is worth having screws adapted to the model.
Before you start, switch off the iPhone, disconnect the battery and work on a clean surface with an anti-static mat. Sort the screws by location so they do not get mixed up. After reassembly, check that each screw is properly in place without forcing it, then check the fit of the casing.
