Description
This kit contains screws for the iPhone 7, in gold colour. It is used to refit the internal components and the chassis of the device after a repair, for example when replacing a screen, a battery or a connector. A screw that is misaligned or missing can leave a component out of position or damage the thread of the housing, which is why it is worth having screws matched to the model.
For a clean assembly, work on a flat, clean surface, with a magnetic mat to sort the screws by position. Use a screwdriver suited to small screws and never force anything: if a screw resists, check its orientation and position. Disconnect the battery before any work on a ribbon cable, and avoid static electricity by working away from synthetic mats.
After reassembly, check that each screw is tightened without being forced and that the housing shows no play. Then test the replaced parts before closing the device completely.
