Description
This kit contains compatible screws for the iPhone 7 Plus. It is used to refit the internal and external components of the device once a repair is finished, for example after replacing a screen, a battery or a connector. Screws that are loose or missing can cause play, rattling or a back cover that comes away, which is why it helps to have screws suited to each position.
Before you start, prepare a clean, well-lit workspace, with an anti-static mat if possible. Use a screwdriver suited to fine screws and avoid forcing anything. Sort the screws by position, for example in a small tray or a folded sheet of paper, so they do not get mixed up. Remember to disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables, and never puncture or bend a lithium battery.
Once reassembly is complete, check that all screws are snug without being overtightened, that the cover closes properly and that no component moves. Power on the device to test its operation, and watch that it does not overheat unusually during the first uses.
