Description
This kit contains black replacement screws for the iPhone 7 Plus. They hold the different parts of the casing in place, such as the inner frame, the logic board or the internal brackets. When a screw is missing, damaged or poorly tightened, the phone may not close properly, come loose or make noise. This kit restores a correct fixing after opening the device to change a screen, a battery or another component.
Before you start, prepare a screwdriver suited to Pentalobe and Phillips screws, a tray to store each screw in the order it was removed, and a clean, well-lit workspace. Switch off the device and disconnect the battery before any work on the flex cables. Avoid electrostatic discharge by touching a grounded metal surface before handling the components.
Once assembly is complete, check that each screw is correctly in place without forcing it, that the casing closes without play and that nothing sticks out. Tighten gently to avoid damaging the thread. Then switch the device on and check the operation of the parts you have just refitted.
