Description
This IC chip, also known as an NFC integrated circuit, is an electronic component that manages the device's contactless communication. It is used for mobile payments, card reading and very short-range data exchange. When it fails, the phone may no longer detect NFC devices, or the module may stop responding, leaving contactless functions unusable. This part is a compatible version for iPhone 14 Plus, made by a third-party manufacturer.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery before handling any ribbon cables. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static wrist strap if possible, and avoid excessive heat during desoldering or disassembly. Handle the chip by its edges, without touching the pins.
After fitting, reassemble the device carefully, check that all connections are firmly in place, then switch it back on. Next, test the NFC functions with a dedicated app or a card, and check that reading works correctly. If you are unsure about compatibility or installation, refer to your device's documentation.
