This IC chip, referenced U1502, is an integrated circuit that drives the screen backlight on the iPhone 6 Plus. When the screen lighting no longer comes on, or the image appears very dark or flickers, this part may be the cause. Replacing it can restore normal display brightness, without touching the screen panel itself if it still works.
This is a compatible part, made by a third party. It is offered as an affordable alternative to repair your device. Before any work, switch off the device, disconnect the battery if the procedure requires it, and work on a clean surface, avoiding static electricity with an anti-static wrist strap. Handle the component by its edges, without pressing on its pins.
After fitting, switch the device back on and check the screen brightness gradually over several uses. If the battery was disconnected, let it charge fully, then carry out a few complete charge cycles. Never use a swollen or damaged battery, do not puncture it and do not bend it.
