Description
This IC chip, also called an integrated circuit, is a PMU (power management) electronic component used for the camera of the iPhone X device. It handles the distribution and regulation of power to the photo module. When it is faulty, you may experience problems such as a camera that no longer activates, a black image or intermittent operation.
This reference is a compatible part made by a third party, not an original part. It is offered to replace a specific electronic component, provided you clearly identify reference U3700 on your board. Before you start, disconnect the device, remove the battery and work on a clean surface, limiting static electricity with an anti-static wrist strap if possible.
Soldering a chip requires precision, a suitable hot air station and moderate heat so as not to damage neighbouring components. After fitting, check the solder joints with a magnifier and test the camera before closing the casing. If the battery shows swelling, do not use it.
