Description
This IC chip iPhone X (U QET) is an integrated circuit designed to replace the current component on the iPhone X device board. It is an electronic component that handles certain functions of the board. When it fails, the device may show abnormal behaviour related to the function it controls, without the cause always being easy to identify.
This part is a compatible version, made by a third-party manufacturer. It lets you replace the current component at low cost, as part of a do-it-yourself repair. Before you start, switch off the power, disconnect the battery where possible and work on an anti-static surface with an earthing wrist strap. Avoid excessive heat when desoldering and handle the chip by its edges.
After fitting, carefully check the solder joints under a microscope or magnifying glass, then make sure the board shows no short circuit or abnormal heating before putting it back into service. Then test the affected functions of the device. If the board swells or gives off a burnt smell, stop the operation immediately.

- Switch off the power and disconnect the battery before any work
- Use an anti-static wrist strap to protect the chip
- Limit heat during desoldering so you do not damage the board
- Check the solder joints and the absence of short circuits after fitting
- Never puncture or bend the device's lithium battery
